Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be cheld at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, at St. Louis Chapel in Parks for Rogers Sam, 77, who passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019.
Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Interment will take place at a later date.
He is survived by his friend and companion, Viola Joseph; sons, Joseph L. and Kevin J. Sam; daughter, Stacy A. Sam; step sons, Kenneth Jr. and Curtis Joseph Sr.; brothers, Joseph, Derby and Herbert Doucet; sisters, Leola Journet, Ceola Leonard and Geraldine Davis; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Pricilla Brown.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
