St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, April 28, at Pellerin Funeral Home ifor Denis Francis Pellegran, 90, who passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
Interment followed at St. Michael Mausoleum .
Denis served in the United States Army, a Korean War Veteran from 1950-1952, and was a member of the VFW Post 169 in Lafayette.
He is survived by his sons, Danny L. and Chris Pellegran; daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Cheryle) Champagne, Mrs. Darrell (Dianne) Credeur and Mrs. Shawn (Christine) Stevens; sister, Effie Landry; 21 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Molly Patin Pellegran; a grandchild; brother, Chester Pellegran; sisters, Gertie Rogers, Viola Latiolais, Margie Melancon and Roseamy Duncan.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
