St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for James “Jambo” Jacquet, 48, who passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019.
Interment followed at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Jones Jacquet; son, James Jacquet Jr.; daughter, Breighlynn Polk; brother, Keith Jacquet; and his sister, Mrs. Melvin (Kila) Francis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randolph Jacquet; and sister, Cora Lee Perry.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
