Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 11, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Viola Jolivet Gordon, 88, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020.
Interment followed at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph and Larry Gordon; daughters, Mrs. Larry (Julia) Lemelle, Mrs. Ricky (Barbara) Lemelle, Mrs. Michael (Betty) St. Julian, and Mrs. Lenden (Mary) Lewis; brothers, Carlton, Eugene, Andrew and Harold Jolivet; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walton Gordon; daughter, Norma Eglin; a grandson; brothers, Felton, Ernest, Landry and Aaron Jolivet; and her sister, Hilda Cyprien.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
