lia – A Funeral Service was held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Scott David Aucoin, 51, who passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Deacon Ken Soignier officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in lia. Scott was a welder by trade for many years. He also did construction work and was a perfectionist at anything he put his hands on. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved going to the camp with his friends to hunt and fish. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, cooking, being with his family, and spoiling his four-legged friend, Ruby. Scott will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Verna Allemand McDonald (David); father, Evert M. Aucoin; brother, Everett M. Aucoin Jr. (Laura); sister, Vanessa A. Huval (Jimmy); nephews, Berney Huval and Chase Huval, who was also his godchild; and one great-niece, Aubriee Huval. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tilton and Hilda Duval; paternal grandparents, Jim and Emma Aucoin; and maternal great grandparents, Theodore and Caroline Daigle Bailey. Pallbearers were Chase Huval, Berney Huval, Danny Acosta, Nitty Aucoin, James Gaines and Jimmy Huval. Pellerin Funeral Home of lia was in charge of arrangements. (Pd.Adv.
