houla – A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 21, 2021, at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery for Dawn Marie Melancon, 44, who passed away on Wednesday, February, 10, 2021. Dawn was born on February 24, 1976. Dawn will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Father Bill Melancon officiated at the graveside service. She is survived by her sons, Lon Theriot Jr. and financé Kylie David, Trayton Theriot and wife Brook Theriot, and Gannon Theriot; daughter, Addison Theriot; a granddaughter, Evelyn Theriot; brother, Darryl Melancon Jr. and wife Misty Melancon; nephews, Austin and Cameron Melancon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darryl Sr. and Irene Melancon; grandparents, Stafford and Josephine Melancon and Lawrence Melancon Sr. and Barbara Dugas. Martin and Castille was in charge of the cremation and family was in charge of arrangements. A special thanks to Darryl Jr., Misty, Austin and Cameron Melancon for doing what ya’ll did for Dawn in her time of need.
