Martinville – Funeral services were held on Feb. 20 at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Lawrence J. Savoy Sr., 89, who passed away on Feb. 14, 2021. He is survived by his sons, Lawrence Jr. and George Savoy; three daughters, Sylvia Savoy, Mrs. Albert (Cynthia) Willis and Mrs. Reginald (Simone) Bowens); 11 grandchildren,; and a sister, Isabelle Stevens. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Savoy. Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
