Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. A rosary was prayed at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. Ed Degeyter officiated at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Nell was born December 22, 1917, in St. Martinville. She worked as a Postmaster with the United States Postal Service for many years. She was an expert seamstress and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved her family dearly and cherished her time spent with them. Nell will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Nell Stephens (John), Russel Mouton II (Cyndi), Bentley G. Mouton (Tammy), Andy Angelle (Tracey), Scott Angelle (Brandi), Lon Angelle (Jennifer), and Ron Angelle (Jana); 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orter and Laurence Judice Dugas; first husband, Bentley Solari; second husband, Percy Granger; daughters, Sandi Angelle (Glenn) and Geraldine Mouton (Russel); siblings, June LeCamus and Godfrey Dugas; stepchildren, Elaine Angelle, Jeanette Boutte and Carroll Granger; and stepson-in-law, Clarence Angelle.
Pallbearers were Andy Angelle, Scott Angelle, Lon Angelle and Ron Angelle.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, was in charge of arrangements.
