Rev. Bill Melancon officiated at the Funeral Mass. Reader was Carlie Bourque.

Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.

  Ellen was a love of many. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the hunting camp with her family and making a stop at the casino.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Champagne Sr.; sons, Larry Champagne Jr. (Heidi) and Cory Champagne (Dawn); daughter, Amy Harmon (Donovan); grandchildren, Taylor  Bourque (Aaron Clark), Carlie Bourque (Cullen Broussard), Tyler Champagne and Paris Champagne; great-grandchildren, Isabelle Clark and Charli Clark; and brother, Ronnie Sercovich (Linda).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Evelyn Pfalzgraf Henson; and two brothers, Wayne “Butch” Henson and John Henson.

Pallbearers were Larry Champagne Jr., Cory Champagne, Donovan Harmon, Cullen Broussard, Aaron Clark and Wayne Theriot.

Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Champagne and Ronnie Sercovich.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
