He is survived by his loving wife, Ulle Lepasaar Bienvenu; his sons, David Bienvenu and Michjah Bienvenu; his granddaughter, Ava; and his siblings Elmire B. Resweber, Stella B. Talley and Celeste B. Broussard. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wade Thomas Bienvenu and Helen Marie LaSalle Bienvenu.
