Velma Eva Patin Carline

Scott – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church for Velma Eva Patin Carline, 77, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at her residence.

Burial will take place in St. Bernard Cemetery #2 - Breaux Bridge, La.

Mrs. Velma, a resident of Scott, was the daughter of the late Dewey Patin and the former Lilly Hayes.

She is survived by her sons, André S. Herpin and René D. Bayona; granddaughter, Amber L. Herpin; five great-grandchildren; brother, Carol D. Patin (Janet); and sister, Lucille Patin Russo (Wayne).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Carline; daughter, Michelle Herpin; parents, Dewey and Lilly Patin; and sister, Molly Patin Pelegrin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Scott on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 8 a.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be André S. Herpin, René D. Bayona, Jimmy Laviolette, Johnny Laviolette, Carol D. Patin and Mark Broussard.
