A visitation took place at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service, at 1:30 p.m.

A rosary was prayed at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. 

Father Jason Vidrine officiated at the funeral service. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.

Kelly Doucet Wiltz was born on June 7th, 1988, in St. Martinville. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and playing cards and pool. Kelly loved traveling with her family every chance that she was able to get. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Kelly will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by husband, Sidney Wiltz; brother, Scotty Paul Douet Jr. (Ashley); sisters, Samantha Wiltz (Matthew) and Cierra Douet (Arthur); aunts, Vickie Smith, Connie Charpentier, Denise Smith, Jennifier Girouard (Mark), Genevieve Trahan, Sonya Bourque, Nicole Suire and Liz Douet; uncle, Mike Douet; nieces, Brooklynn Wiltz and Ayvah Broussard; nephew, Rory Douet; her Shop-Rite family; her cat, Sissy, and her dogs, Peanut and Blue. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Scotty and Jenise Smith Douet Sr.; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Winston Smith; paternal grandparents, James and Edith Douet Sr.; and her uncles, James Douet, Jr. and Roy Dauphine. 

Pallbearers were Scotty Douet, Eugene Champagne, Matthew Wiltz, Calvin Ledet, Treylan Linden and Mike Douet. 

Honorary pallbearers were Rory Douet, Davonte Wiltz, Nathanal Wiltz, Donald Charpentier, Mark Girouard and Johnathan Charpentier.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
