He is survived by his daughter, Dena Cowan (Sean); stepchildren, Stephanie Primeaux (Michael) and Jason Venable (Jessica); two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Murphy and Alfred Guidry; and his sisters, Renella Theriot and Geraldine Solis.
