Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Linda Faye Marie Roy Boudreaux, 68, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family. 

 A visitation was held at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and continued on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 8 a.m. until service time. 

A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. 

 Deacon Butch Hebert officiated at the funeral service.

Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.

 Linda was born on April 3, 1955, in Arnaudville. Linda lived a life filled with love, laughter, and happiness. Her kind heart, warm smile, and compassionate spirit touched the lives of so many people. Linda’s greatest joy was being with her family and spending time with them brought immense happiness to her life. She also didn’t leave out her fur buddy Buster in spending most of her leisure time together.

When Linda wasn’t spending time with her beloved family or furry companion, she found joy in cooking delicious meals for everyone to enjoy while listening to oldies music. She loved reminiscing about her childhood which brought back fond memories of growing up.

Her husband, children and grandchildren were everything to her. Linda’s kindness and willingness to always lend a helping hand touched the lives of many people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, James Roland Boudreaux; daughter, Catina Boudreaux Usie (Jamie Paul); son, Jamie “ T-boo” Boudreaux (Jacqueline “Jackie”); brother, Louis Roy Jr.; sister, Elizabeth Roy Daigle (Roland “Black”); granddaughters, Monique Ann Usie and Hailey Marie Boudreaux; sister-in-law, Janice Boudreaux Huval; her fur buddy, Buster Boudreaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Bernice Roy Sr.; son, Adam Paul Boudreaux; brothers, James Roy, Charles Joseph Roy, Weston Roy and Donald Roy; sisters, Debra Roy and Geraldine Roy.

Pallbearers were Jaime “T-boo” Boudreaux, Jacqueline “Jackie” Boudreaux, Catina Usie, Jamie Paul Usie, Monique Ann Usie and Joseph “Joe” Hayes.

Honorary pallbearers were Hailey Marie Boudreaux, Elizabeth Daigle, and Roland “Black” Daigle.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
