Visitation was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 2 p.m. until religious services at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 and conducted by Deacon Nat Garofalo. 

Carol was a passionate florist and optician for many years. 

She is survived by her son, Dannie Bergeron and wife, Mary Beth; two daughters, Michelle Monaghan (George Moran) and Anita Bergeron (David Worrell); grandchildren, Danielle Bergeron, Dannie Bergeron, Jr., Lauren Pierce (Zachery), Jon Michael Monaghan, and Dillon Odom; two great-grandchildren, Lawsen Pierce and Derrick Pierce; brothers, Jerry Tyrone Goode, Frank Goode, and Ronnie Goode; sisters, Barbara Herrington, Faye Taylor, Deloris Vigil and Debbie Bedell. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Bergeron; her parents, Frank and Velma Goode; brothers, Morris Goode, Wayne Goode, and Jim Gail Goode; sister, Linda Kaye Goode.
