Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Beatrice “Queen B” Alex Derouselle, 91, who passed away on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Visiting hours will be observed from 7:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday until service time. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Dieudonne H. Derouselle; sister, Rose Noel; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Derouselle. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
