Renella ‘Sue’ LeBlanc
A visitation took place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
A rosary was recited at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Burial followed at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
Sue dedicated her life to her family and her work as a seamstress at Martin Mills, where she was known for her skill and artistry.
Sue was a faithful member of St. Francis of

Assisi Catholic Church and actively participated in the Ladies Auxiliary, where she formed cherished friendships and became an integral part of her community. Her unwavering faith and deep love for her church were evident in all she did.
In her personal life, Sue found immense joy in cooking, gardening, and sewing-passions that she shared with her family and friends. She loved to host gatherings, especially during Thanksgiving, creating an atmosphere filled with love, laughter, and delicious meals that brought everyone together. She will be remembered not just for her culinary skills, but for the warmth and hospitality she extended to all who entered her home.
She is survived by her son, Andrew (Rachel) LeBlanc, Jr.; grandchildren, Jupiter LeBlanc, Andre’ LeBlanc, Amber LeBlanc, Lakenya Johnson and Christopher Johnson; brothers, Lester (Jean) Fontenette, Edward (Agnes) Fontenette, Johnny Fontenette; and her sister, Prenella (James) Pentard.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew LeBlanc, Sr.; parents, Alphonse and Theresa Francis Fontenette; brothers, Wilbert Fontenette and Leroy Fontenette; nieces and nephew, LeRoy Fontenette, Dehavon Fontenette, Cheryl Fontenette and Derek Fontenette.
