Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service was held on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Marcel “Jay” Borel, Jr., 70, who passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at The Calcutta House in Lafayette.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Jacqueline Borel; sons, Bryce Borel and Blye Borel; daughter, Nikia Broussard; brother, Carl Borel (Claudia); and sisters, Libbie Bourque (Gene) and Loretta Funk (John), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
