St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Edwin C. Mayeux, 47, who passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018. Interment followed at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes. He is survived by his spouse of 25 years, Angela Romero Mayeux; daughter, Mrs. Justin (Andrea) Schouest; one granddaughter; father, Donald Mayeux; mother, Betty Freeman; brothers, Ace and Donald Mayeaux, and Heath and Jake Freeman; and sisters, Mrs. Mitch (Faith) Blanchard and Lisa Boudreaux. He was preceded in death by his brother, Derek Mayeaux; and stepfather, Fred Freeman. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
