Henderson – A funeral service was held on Saturday, Dec. 1, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Johnny Blaine Melancon, 50, of Iowa, La., who passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018. Burial followed in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Ramona Thibodeaux Melancon; four daughters, Mrs. Rocky (Faythe) Hebert, Mrs. Lance (Brooke) Carriere, Mrs. James (Leslie) Powell and Raynee R. Montet; step-children, Grant, Curstin and Gabe Menard; his father, Lee Roy Melancon; brothers, Terry and Graig Melancon; sister, Mrs. Ricky (Cynthia) LaGrange; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Zula Noel Melancon. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
