Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Mary Lou Poirier Touchet, 79, who passed away on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018. Visiting hours will be observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and continue on Thursday at 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her son, Roderick Touchet Sr.; daughter, Lila Touchet; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Touchet; and siblings, Velma, Wilfred and Raymond Poirier. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
