Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Earline Marie Underwood, 74, who passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018. Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. A rosary was prayed at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Rev. Stephen Pellessier officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Underwood enjoyed going with her high school friends for their lunches, playing bingo and going to the casino. She cherished gatherings spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She is survived by her sons, Kip Underwood and wife Courtney and Carl Underwood Jr., both of Breaux Bridge; daughters, Lisa Thibodeaux and husband Jody, Kim Beazley and Kristy Underwood, all of Breaux Bridge; brothers, Lester Latiolais and wife Mary of Breaux Bridge, and Toby Latiolais and wife Earline of Breaux Bridge; sisters, Laura Belle Tauzin of Cecilia, Peggy Hebert of Lafayette; grandchildren, Jared Beazley, Jordon Beazley, Jake Beazley, Drew Thibodeaux, Drake Thibodeaux, Kailyn Doiron and Kale Doiron; and nine great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Underwood Sr.; father, Theobald Latiolais Sr.; mother, Isabelle Latiolais; brothers, Allen Latiolais and Doyce Latiolais; sisters, Dula Degetaire, Murley LeBlanc and Delta Brasseaux; and son-in-law, Greg Beazley.  Pallbearers were Jared Beazley, Jordon Beazley, Jake Beazley, Drew Thibodeaux, Drake Thibodeaux and Kale Doiron. Honorary pallbearers were Kerrigan Hebert and Matt Tauzin. Family would like to give special thanks to daughters Kim and Kristy, and grandson Jake, for their compassion, love, and care during her life. Also, thanks to Grace Home Health, especially Lacey, for the love and support to the family. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
