Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial wase celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Paul Wayne Domingue, 60, who passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and continued on Thursday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Fr. Stephen Pellessier officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Alaina and Margot Domingue. Gift Bearers were his grandchildren.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Paul was employed by Guidry Welding and truly loved his job and co-workers. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer and duck hunting with his children, and also enjoyed fishing and crawfishing.
He is survived by his loving wife, Delores “Dee” Domingue; sons, Casey Domingue and wife Alaina of Breaux Bridge, and Jacob Domingue and wife Margot of Scott; daughter, Virginia Pippin and husband Dillan of Crowley; six grandchildren, Aiden, Alex, Mason, Riley and Elise Domingue and Harper Pippin; and his brothers, Robert Domingue and wife Karen of Scott, and Michael Domingue of Mooringsport, La.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Martin Domingue, his father, Willie George Domingue; his brothers, Byron and Charles Domingue; and his nephew, Kelsey Domingue.
Pallbearers were Casey Domingue, Jacob Domingue, Dillan Pippin, Teddy Smith, Steve Falcon and Francis Broussard.
Honorary pallbearers were Kirk Landry, Gary Landry, Kirby Landry, Michael Domingue, Robert Domingue, Dale LaPorte and Charlie Domingue.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
