Breaux Bridge –- A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, Feb. 1, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Verna Guidry Huval, 88, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019. Interment followed at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2. She is survived by her sons, Michael, Anthony, Charles and Jamie Huval; daughter, Mrs. Tim (Marella) Trahan; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Harris (Elaine) Landry. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Huval; daughter, Lisa Huval; three grandchildren; sisters, Una G. Cormier, Eunice G. Blanchard, Edna G. Blanchard and Jean G. Melancon; and brothers, John and Dewey Guidry. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, was in charge of arrangements.
