St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 30, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Conrad Alton Daspit Jr., 80, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020. Interment follow at St. Michael Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Escoyne Daspit; sons, Kenneth and Chad Daspit; daughter, Mrs. Jonathan (Rachael) Champagne; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Dexter and David Daspit; brothers, Russell Clark and Lawrence Daspit; and sister, Dorothy Daspit. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
