ecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, Feb. 7, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for Patrick Boyd Sr., 75, who passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020. Interment followed at St. Rose of Lima Cemeterya. He is survived by his wife, Jessie Davis Boyd; son, Marvin Boyd; daughters, Stacy Hypolite and Mrs. Walter (Kristy) Broussard; six grandchildren; and brothers, Audrey Frederick, and Jim and Nathan Boyd. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Boyd Jr.; brothers, Jesse and Malcolm Boyd; and his sisters, Louella B. Malveaux, Elizabeth Frederick and Odelia and Una Boyd. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
