Breaux Bridge – A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Laurence “Larry” M. Barkley Jr., 79, who passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020. Visiting hours will be observed from 9 a.m. until time of memorial service on Saturday. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nelma Usé Barkley; sons, Laurence M. III, Walter and Robert Barkley; daughter, Mrs. Neil (Suzanne) Thibodeaux; brother, Garner T. Barkley; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, John C. Barkley; and one sister, Malcie Berrigan. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
