St. Martinville – A Graveside Service was held on Friday, June 5, at St. Michael Cemetery for Merlin P. Wiltz, 82, who passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery. He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Willie (Susan) Henry, Mrs. Mark (Louella) Alexander, rs. Carl (Carolyn) West and Mrs. Darrell (Crystal) Wiltz); son, Anthony Wiltz Sr.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sara Benoit and Elizabeth Perrodin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Althea Gerard Wiltz. Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
