rnaudville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 11, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Joseph A. Thompson Sr., 76, who passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Interment followed at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery. He is survived by his children, Joseph Jr. and Scotty Thompson, Lamar and Joseph Burks, and Mrs. Vincent (Melissa) Jenkins; brother, Joseph J. Thompson; sisters, Mrs. John (Elvina) Dean, Ida Human and Mrs. Preston (Rose) Wiltz; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville was in charge of arrangements.
