ux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Doris B. Landry, 86, who passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday. A rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. on Monday. Rev. Nicholas DuPré will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 Mausoleum in ux Bridge. Doris enjoyed reading, crocheting and talking to her sister on the phone. She also loved doing word search puzzles. Doris was an amazing family seamstress – she sewed many outfits for her daughters and their dolls. She was known for always finding the 4-leaf clover in the patch. Doris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Surven Landry of ux Bridge; daughters, Patsy (Larry) Gaudet of Baldwin, Yvonne Dugas of St. Martinville and Judy (Perry) Usie of ux Bridge; sister, Mary Lou Smith of ux Bridge; brother, Bobby Lee (Edna) Belaire of ux Bridge; grandchildren, Francis Landry Jr., David Dugas, Paula Landry, Marlene (Todd) Landry and Jill (Brian) Shepherd; great-grandchildren, Emily Landry, Kayla Landry, Jada Landry and Travis Landry; and her great-great-grandchildren, Emma Landry and Blakely Dogua. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Amelia Degeyter Belaire; son-in-law, Michael Dugas; brother-in-law, Carrol Smith; and honorary son, Jerry Spradlin.
