Eula Mae Washington Jones

St. Martinville – Funeral services were held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Eula Mae Washington Jones, 86, who died Sunday, October 16, 2022, at her residence.

Services were conducted by Rev. Clifton Labbe.

Interment was in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

She is survived by her five sons, Alvin Jones (Shirley), Wilton Jones (Pearl), Wilfred Jones, Terry Jones, and Tyrone Jones (Ardenna), all of St. Martinville, La.; and one daughter, Denise M. Jones of St. Martinville, La.  She also leaves to cherish her legacy eight granddaughters, one grandson, six great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Horace Washington Sr.; three sisters, Theresa Washington, Rita Martin and Mary Ann Charles; and one brother, Horace Washington Jr.

Visitation wase held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7 a.m. until time of service.  A rosary was recited at 9 a.m.
