Mary Alice Smith

A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date for Mary Alice Smith, 65, who passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2022.

Inurnment will take place in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula, La.

Mrs. Smith, a resident of Broussard, was the daughter of the late Lester Joseph Guilbeau Sr. and the former Rita Boudreaux.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Murrell Thomas “Tommy” Smith Jr.; daughters, Brandy S. Wassmer (Peter) and Candy L. Smith; son, M. Thomas “Trey” Smith III (Dana); grandchildren, Angelique C. Kane (Tim), Ethan Connor, Tyler Wassmer, Logan Wassmer, Frances Smith, and Ridge Smith; two great-granddaughters; sister, Mary Elsie Guidry; and brother, L. J. Guilbeau Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Rita Guilbeau; and sister, Mary Jane Guidry.
