St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on March 4 at Notre Dame Catholic Church  for Elnora “Sue” Leon, 88, who died on Feb. 24, 2023. 

She is survived by her sons, Paul and Andrew Phillips; daughters, Gloria Kindrick and Brenda Menard; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. 

Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Catahoula – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Feb. 23 at St. Rita Catholic Church for Johnny Frederick, 73, who died on Feb.18, 2023. 

He is survived by his wife, Ella “Tina” Frederick; daughter, Caroline Billiot; son, Joey Frederick); three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula for Steve Joseph Richard, 53, who passed away February 24, 2023, at his residence.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday. 

Fr. Bill Melancon will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readings will be read by Minnie Landry.
