Henderson – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Gloria Lee Benoit, 79, who passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
Visiting hours were observed from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and continued on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson.
A rosary was prayed at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Melvin Joseph Barras, 86, who passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, at St. Martin Hospital.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
A rosary was prayed at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Deacon Marcel “Butch” Hebert officiate d at the Funeral Service. Scripture were read by Gina H. Theall and Brooke H. Richard.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Lucille G. Melancon, 91, who passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
A rosary will be prayed at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Rev. Garrett McIntyre will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
