Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 23, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Dustin Slade Bernard, 23, who passed away on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017.
Visiting hours will be observed from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and continue on Saturday at 7 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Interment will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his parents, Barron and Debbie Hardy Bernard; his brother, Dax Bernard; and his sister, Tara N. Bernard.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.

Breaux Bridge – Graveside services were held at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery for Kathryn June, Thomas Mitchell and Pearson James Derouen, infant triplets of Logan and Lexi Latiolais Derouen of Breaux Bridge, who passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
They are also survived by their maternal grandparents, Kelly and Katrina Latiolais; paternal grandfather, Peter Derouen; and paternal grandparents, Jace and Nita Toups.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, Dec. 14, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Mary Merline Smith, 75, who passed away on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017.
Interment followed at Methodist Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Daren, Ricky and Edward Smith; her daughters, Sarah Smith, Mrs. William (Irma) Rogers, and Lisa and Arden Smith; her sister, Mrs. Jerry (Louise) Wiltz; 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Huey Smith Sr.; a son, Huey Smith Jr.; and her sister, Merly Hayes.
