Arnaudville – A Funeral service was held on Saturday, Nov. 25, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Antoinette Broussard Dupuis, 99, who passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017.
Interment followed at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum.
She is survived by her son, Roy J. Dupuis; daughter, Mrs. Ray (Joyce) Schexnayder; step son, Gardy Dupuis; brother, Chester Broussard; sister, Enez Matte; 21 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Breaux Bridge – A Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Amber Nicole Hebert, 31, who passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017.
Vvisiting hours be observed from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
She is survived by her father, David Hebert; her mother, Mickie Newton Hebert; her sons, Jayse and Elijah Soileau; her daughter, Madison Hebert; her sisters, Kristen Valdez, and Shelby, Stevie and Kylan Hebert; and her paternal grandmother, Margaret Guilbeau.

Odile Castania Barras

Catahoula – A Funeral Mass was conducted for Odile Castania Barras, age 66, at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Fabre officiating. Interment followed at St. Michael’s Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Visitation took place at the Dion Hall in Catahoula on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. with the rosary at 7 p.m. The Dion Hall reopened on Friday at 6 a.m. until service time.
A native of St. Martin Parish and resident of Catahoula, Mrs. Barras passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at her residence.
