Mamou – A memorial service will be held at a later date for Jency Miller who passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her residence in St. Martinville, Louisiana at the age of 90. A private burial will follow in the Old St. Ann’s Cemetery in Mamou.
St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held on June 30 at Jenkins Memorial Baptist Church for Betty Ann Landry, 49, who died on June 25, 2023.
She is survived by her step-father, Clesma “Cam” Albert; and brothers, Chad and Clayton Albert, and Jeremy, Troy and Rusty Landry.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for John Larry Guidry, 84, the cowboy passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on June 26, 2023.
A visitation took place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continued on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.
A rosary was prayed by Deacon Perry Guidry at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held on June 24 at Pellerin Funeral Home for Ann Merlynn Champagne, 100, who died on June 20, 2023.
She is survived by her son, Alvin Mouton; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Mouton; ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on June 24 at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Dorothy V. Anthony, 90, who died on Monday, June 19, 2023.
She is survived by her son, Darrel J. Anthony; daughters, Jacqueline, Janise and Charlotte Anthony; one grandchild, Jarrad Anthony (Patrice)and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Octave, Milton J. and Russell Valsin; and her sister, Betty Wiltz.
