Obituaries

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on June 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Abel “T-Boy” Huval Jr., 77, who died on June 12, 2023. 

 He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hebert Huval; daughters, Tracy Huval, Brooke Richard and Caprice Huval; brother, Wesley Hebert; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Cecilia  – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on June 17 at St. Joseph Catholic Church  for Audry “Mr. Bay” Frederick, 92, who died on June 12, 2023.

He is survived by his daughters, Marilyn Babineaux, Suzette Whitmyer, Sarah Frederick, Wanda Davis, Velva Alexander, Kennison; son, Audrey Frederick Jr.; 20 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; brother, Nathan Boyd; and his sisters, Katherine Harris, Nola Broussard, Theresa Preston and Jacqueline Roy.

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held on June 16 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Cindy Lee T. Bonin, 67, who died on June 13, 2023. 

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Bonin; daughters, Tonya Doucet and Lindsey Cormier; son, Kevin Bonin; brother, Karl Thibodeaux; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
