St. Martinville – A Funeral Service was held on Nov. 25 at Pellerin Funeral Home for Gavin Collier Hayes, 19, who died on Nov. 17, 2022.
He is survived by his parents, Leah and Shelton Hayes; and siblings, Shaylei, Valerie and Hayes, and Ryan Hebert.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Breaux Bridge – A Memorial service will be held on Dec. 5 at St Bernard Catholic Church for Michele “Mimi” Oakes Gautreaux, 26, on the 41st anniversary of her death. Michele is survived by her daughter, Angie Jordan; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother, Montford brother, Montford Oakes; and her sisters, Marcia Leask and Jamie Milligan.

Alexandria – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated for Carroll J. Fuselier Jr. at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Rev. Chad Partain officiating.
Entombment followed in Alexandria Memorial Gardens Mausoleum under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.
Visitation was held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A rosary was held at the church beginning at 1 p.m. followed by the funeral Mass.
Catahoula – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022, at St. Rita Catholic Church for Carl “Pazoo” Dugas, 83, who passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at his residence.
A visitation was held at Dion Hall on Sunday from 5:30 p..m. to 9 p.m. and continued on Monday from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
A rosary was prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Father Bill Melancon officiated at the Funeral Mass. Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Melissa Marie Perrodin Thomas, 61, was held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Rev. George Bede Ajuruchi, SSJ, Celebrant, officiating.
Interment followed in Saint Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Visitation hours were observed at Fletcher Funeral Home in New Iberia) on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A rosary was recited at 9 a.m.
