Breaux Bridge – Funeral Services were held on Oct. 22 at Bethlehem Baptist Church for Jude Thaddeus Pickney, 46, who died on Oct. 17, 2022.

He is survived by his wife, Brandy J. Pickney; daughter, Azania L. Pickney; and brother, Timothy Pickney. 

Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

St. Martinville – Funeral services were held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Eula Mae Washington Jones, 86, who died Sunday, October 16, 2022, at her residence.

Services were conducted by Rev. Clifton Labbe.

Interment was in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Catahoula – A Memorial Service will be held on Oct. 22 for Jacques Alton Smith, 38, who died on Oct. 12, 2022, in Houston, Texas.  

He is survived by father, Ricky Smith Sr.; mother, Jacquelyn Taylor; daughter, Aubrey Smith; fiancée, Danielle Doucet; step-son Beau Aucoin; sisters, Mrs. William (Roxy) Finney and Mrs. Trevor (Minnie) Landry; and brother, Ricky Smith Jr.
