Jeremy Bryan Savoy

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Jeremy Bryan Savoy, 51, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at his residence.

A visitation took place at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continued on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 

A rosary was recited by Kevin Talley, Robbie Savoy, Chaz LeBlanc, Jason Theriot and Neil Theriot at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Paul J. Maraist

St. Martinville A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Parks for Paul J. Maraist, 84, who passed away on April 24, 2023, at his residence. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in St. Martinville on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will continue Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Monday. 

Rev. David M. Rozas will officiate at the funeral mass. 

Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. 

Herman Matthew Tyler

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Herman Matthew Tyler, 91, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Notre Dame Catholic Church Gary Street, St. Martinville,.

Interment will be private.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Notre Dame Catholic Church with a rosary to be recited at 9 a.m.

A native and resident of Saint Martinville, he  passed at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023, at his  residence following a brief illness.

Michael ‘Miguel’ Morrogh

Breaux Bridge – Miguel Morrogh is at rest with his Lord and Savior after leaving us with the perfect example of how to fight humbly and courageously.  He loved with all his heart and cherished friendships, family and a simple life. 

He was the owner and operator of MP Morrogh Truck and Tractor which he established in 2003. From a young age Miguel loved playing in dirt and tinkering with trucks, tractors, and just about anything with a motor and tires, often working side by side repairing ATV’s and motorcycles with his Parain, Albert Simon.

Cheryl Ann Champagne

Carencro – Memorial services were held on Monday, April 24, 2023, at a 2 p.m. Liturgy of the Word in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Cheryl Ann Champagne, 78, the former Cheryl Ann Domingue, who passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Interment was in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. Deacon David Menard officiated at the service.

Upon Mrs. Champagne’s request it is asked that you wear a little something of Red in honor her memory.
